What is an e-database?
  • An organized collection of information from a particular subject area.
  • Can be searched and retrieved electronically.
  • Contents include journal articles, newspaper articles, book reviews, conference proceedings.
  • Usually updated on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Full-text databases contain the whole content of an article.

FIND e-databases via FINDit. From Uni Glam's main website page www.glam.ac.uk click on Glamlife (top right hand side of the page). Log in with your student enrolment number and password (if you haven't already set up a password - then do this now by following the link on the page).
From your personal Glamlife student portal page, go to the Glamlearn menu (centre of page) and click on 'Library'. You will arrive at the  Library Channel page. Click on FINDit to access.
